DislikedThe hotel management rejected our reservation the day we were checking in. And from that it ruined/messed up our anticipated happy Hawaii vacation. Just imagine a long flight from Los Angeles, tired and hungry and excited to start the day at Waikiki Beach, not expecting to be transferred to a cheaper hotel. We turned down the free one-night stay they offered. However, instead, we tried to search on online internet for a front beach hotel available in Waikiki area. Luckily, we found one at Hilton Hawaiian Village. I think it was a bless in disguise when our supposedly stay in Alohilani Hotel was canceled by the management, because it turned out, we found an island paradise at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. We extend our appreciation to the Alohilani staff for assistance they could offer that was not at their fault but the computer system.
